My Story
I was born in Zaire, now the Democratic Republic of Congo, and came to the United States as a young immigrant. My journey through education shaped not only my career, but my understanding of what school can mean in a person’s life.
I have seen education open doors, restore dignity, and create opportunity across cultures and generations. Those experiences have shaped my commitment to intentional teaching, multicultural understanding, and equitable access for every student.
Whether in the classroom, leading a school, or working with educators, I believe education should do more than inform — it should liberate.
School Visits
I offer engaging school visits designed to inspire students and support educators in building inclusive, culturally responsive learning environments. Sessions can be tailored for assemblies, classroom workshops, or professional development settings.
Through storytelling, dialogue, and interactive reflection, students are invited to see education as a pathway to opportunity, responsibility, and impact. Educators receive practical strategies to strengthen classroom culture and academic engagement.

I partner with schools, districts, and educational organizations committed to improving outcomes for diverse student populations. My consulting work focuses on curriculum alignment, instructional best practices, multicultural integration, and systems-level equity strategies.
With experience spanning classroom teaching, school leadership, and district administration, I provide practical guidance grounded in both research and real-world implementation.
